Vital Transit gives Madison riders safe, comfortable wheelchair and ambulatory rides to the appointments that matter: specialist visits, dialysis, therapy, hospital discharges, and more. Every driver is CPR and first-aid trained, and our team speaks English and Somali, so you’ll feel comfortable from pickup to drop-off. We run from 6 AM to 11 PM. Private-pay riders can call us at (608) 770-8385 to book. Medicaid rides are booked through MTM at 866-907-1493.

What we do
- Wheelchair-accessible van rides — ramp/lift entry with 4-point wheelchair securement.
- Ambulatory rides — for riders who can walk with or without a cane or walker.
- Appointments, dialysis, hospital discharges, and transfers — anywhere in Wisconsin.
- Background-checked, drug-screened drivers — CPR and first-aid trained, with hands-on ramp/lift and securement training.
- English and Somali-speaking drivers.
- Wisconsin Medicaid (MTM) network provider — private pay welcome. Insured.
